Key Pieces: The Kurbits-inspired pattern on the Edge Evo Anorak is one of this season’s highlight pieces. Referencing the traditional folk art found in Dalarna, Sweden, the exclusive seasonal print pays homage to the brand’s heritage. The anorak it adorns is just as appealing, boasting a number of technical features, including a robust and protective 3-layer PROOF™ ECO fabric that’s sustainably constructed from fluorocarbon-free materials.

Editor’s Notes: Swedish label Haglöfs has been pushing design boundaries since its founding in 1914, and has subsequently carved out a reputation for itself as a creator of some of the world’s most innovative outdoor equipment. For FW19, the brand references its heritage through the deployment of Swedish folk art.
The L.I.M GTX SHAKEDRY Hood (incidentally the world’s first dual-layer SHAKEDRY™ shell jacket) is a stylish addition to the FW19 lineup. The lightweight jacket is a combination of GORE-TEX® SHAKEDRY™, with breathable, body-mapped Quadfusion™ keeping the wearer warm and dry. The waterproof membrane is on the surface of the design, rather than embedded into the fabric of the jacket, allowing for the kind of super-fast drying which previously only ever existed in nature.
The Khione and Nengal freeride collections have also been updated, with this season’s Kurbits-inspire print applied to the Khione 3L PROOF Jacket for women, and Nengal 3L PROOF Parka for men.
