The Hill-Side launches another round of its famous made-in-Japan sneakers for Spring/Summer 2015. Per usual, the lineup consists of unique textile uppers on top of traditional vulcanized rubber soles. Look for fabrics like hemp-and-cotton blends, tiger camouflage and a proprietary "coal stripe" wool made with Japanese label Kaptain Sunshine. Although none of us here at Selectism were even close to being born in the 1950s, that is the era that this collection seems to bring us to -- the prime era when sneakers began to emerge as fashion wears. Our favorite from The Hill-Side's set is definitely the textured Indigo Sashiko Low Top.

Shop the collection in-store and online at Hickoree's in Brooklyn with prices ranging from $150 to $200.
