Editor's notes: Named after the year that Highsnobiety was founded, HS05 marks the next chapter for our in-house label.
The brand will offer seasonal ready-to-wear collections, the first of which is Autumn/Winter 2023. Available to shop this week with a 23-piece drop, it will be followed up with more releases later in the year.
Building on our 18-year history, the arrival of HS05 is an evolution for our brand and sees it experiment with new techniques and styles. Spanning from technical waterproof fabrics to fuzzy knits, the entire drop delivers a wardrobe for the colder (and rainier) months.
A specific focus in this collection is on transitional outerwear to welcome the start of fall, including 3-layer nylon jackets crafted with taped seams for full waterproofing (along with matching technical bags and hats) alongside a selection of boxy-fitting lamb leather jackets offered with a soft satin lining.
These jackets are joined by cozy knitwear in colorways for easy matching with the rest of the collection, made in Peru using highly textured, alpaca-blend fabric.
The fluffy material can be found on boxy-fitting cardigans with smoked mother-of-pearl buttons as well as being woven into a multi-colored, zig-zag pattern across a selection of sweaters, sweater vests, and oversized scarfs.
Rounding off the drop is a range of staples that are elevated through their subtle branding and distinctive fabrics. These include chunky thermal t-shirts, twill shirts that have been over-dyed for a soft touch, classic carpenter pants crafted from Japanese cotton canvas with a sun-faded finish, and much more.
