Luxury Swiss brand HYT is known for futuristic and collectible watch designs with a particularly innovative method for telling the time. The watches, which range in price from the low $40,000s to just over $86,000, use two flexible reservoirs (aka bellows) – one filled with a colored liquid and the other a transparent one. Traditional watch mechanics activate the system via a piston which drives these bellows to compress and expand as the hours go by.
Aside from its unique mechanism, HYT watches come decked out in luxury materials including yellow gold, sapphire crystal faces. DLC stainless steel, titanium, and carbon cases. Each is water resistant up to 30m and comes with a 65-hour power reserve.
