Designer: IH NOM UH NIT

Location: Milan Fashion Week

Season: SS20

Key Pieces: Alongside the various Asian-inspired garments, the clear standout from IH NOM UH NIT’s SS20 collection is the T-shirt featuring Eleven from Stranger Things.

Editor’s Notes: Ready-to-wear designer label IH NOM UH NIT chose Milan Fashion Week as the setting to debuts its Spring/Summer 2020 collection. For the new season, creative director Chaz Jordan brings traditional Asian influences to the streetwear scene.

Aptly named “A Samurai’s Story,” IH NOM UH NIT SS20 is highlighted by modern interpretations of kimonos and Asian robes, while monochromatic looks are applied to matching silk sets. From there, the label offers graphic T-shirts with detailed embroidery of koi fish, snowcapped Himalaya mountain ranges, and cherry blossoms.

In addition to the Asian-inspired pieces, the label has cooked up new clean bomber jackets, boxy shirts with drop sleeves, and pleated pants. We also see Eleven from Stranger Things featured on a short-sleeve tee, a followup to the brand’s Eleven hoodie.
