The 43rd season of Saturday Night Live kicked off this weekend, with Ryan Gosling on hosting duties and JAY-Z as the musical guest. JAY-Z took to the stage to perform “Bam” with Damian Marley, wearing a football player Colin Kaepernick’s jersey, as well as the title track for his recently surprise-released album 4:44. Check out the clips of his performance below.

JAY-Z will kick off his North American tour in support of 4:44 later this month, where he'll be joined by opening act Vic Mensa. He recently performed a 90 minute set at Meadows Festival, and headlined the Budweiser Made in America Festival last month.
