It's surprising that the Air Jordan 13 doesn't more love like, say, the Jordan 1 and Jordan 4, especially as one of Jordan's more nicer models. Similar to the Jordan 2, the Jordan 13 leans more on the luxury side design-wise, boasting this premium, quilted design that looks almost too good for the basketball courts.

The Jordan 13, a Tinker Hatfield creation, plays on Michael Jordan's whole "Black Cat" panther persona, with details inspired inspired by the stealthy feline. Specifically, the outsole resembles a panther's paw, while that holographic green Jumpman circle on the ankle mimics the eye of the cat. And those quilted uppers? They're inspired by the animal's whisper pad.

With a luxe design this clever and stylish, the Jordan 13 looks good in almost any color combination Nike gives it, from slick "Blue Grey" makeovers to the iconic "Flint" scheme. The latest "Pine Green" pairs might be its most beautiful yet.

Rich pine green and creamy off-white shades come together for a genuinely effortless look, emphasizing the shoe's signature high-end materials of crisp leather and slightly fuzzy suede moments. It's similar to the "Lucky Green" 13s from a few years ago, but greener and better (maybe luckier, even).

It's also worth mentioning how the pleasing color combo is reminiscent of the Celtics colors. Complete with vintage styling, the newest Jordan 13 could easily be seen as a nod to MJ's old rivalry with former Celtic Larry Bird. Those days may be over but the story remains in the Jordan collection.

The "Pine Green" Jordan 13s are expected to drop soon at Nike exclusively in kids' sizing (release page is loaded as we speak). Some whispers say they'll launch on March 1.

If so, what a perfect way to kick off the month with new gorgeous "Pine Green" 13s.
