KPM + Stefan Marx

KPM Berlin — a purveyor of fine, handcrafted porcelain — has linked up with Hamburg-based illustrator Stefan Marx to create a tea set befitting the most artistic of tea drinkers.

Titled "Sundaayyyssss Teatime Set," the collection consists of a teapot, warmer with matching pans, and two "URBINO ZEN" teacups. Crafted from white porcelain and adapted from KPM's existing URBINO range, the set draws inspiration from Japanese tea culture and contemporary art.

URBINO was originally designed by Trude Petri in 1931 — a gem of design history, it is on permanent exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Each piece in the Sundaayyyssss Teatime Set is hand-crafted by Marx in Berlin, and therefore buyers must allow up to two months for delivery. The complete set costs €698 ($800). For more details, head over to KPM.
