Having worked together before, Larose Paris and Post Imperial come together this spring for a new headwear collection. Six models - two fedoras, two panamas and two caps - follow in the Adire tradition of the Yoruba people, an ancient textile tradition that, still to this day, remains one of the most dynamic of all artistic endeavors in West Africa.

Cotton is hand-painted and then dyed using cassava paste, making each silhouette unique. With time, hats will produce new qualities while retaining their distinctness for years to come.

The collaboration’s lookbook was shot in Harlem by Ivan Bideac.
