Brand: Livestock x adidas Consortium x Arc'teryx

Model: Ultra Tech GTX and Terrex Skychaser

Key Features: The Ultra Tech GTX combines design aspects from both the Terrex Skychaser GTX and the Oregon Ultra Tech for a modern silhouette with a slightly retro feel. A GORE-TEX upper, replaceable speed lacing, and leather panels are just some of the features on this outdoorsy sneaker.

The Terrex Skychaser, meanwhile, gets an Ultra Tech-inspired overhaul, most notably Dellinger Web detailing throughout the upper. GORE-TEX lining, a Boost midsole, and an aggressive outsole pattern give the sneaker a tough look.

Release Date: Available now (Global drop on September 29)

Price: €199 for the Skychaser and €179 for the Ultra Tech GTX (approximately $230 and $207 respectively). The apparel ranges from $70 CAD to $450 CAD (approximately $54 to $350).

Buy: adidas, Livestock, and select retailers such as Sneakersnstuff

Editor’s Notes: Marking 10 years since their first collaboration, Livestock, and adidas Consortium have teamed up on two weather-proofed pairs of sneakers: the Ultra Tech GTX and Terrex Skychaser.

Both sneakers feature GORE-TEX elements and make use of a vivid yellow hue. Yellow spans the whole upper of the Ultra Tech GTX, whereas on the predominantly gray Terrex Skychaser, yellow hits are reserved for the insole, pull tab, and Three Stripes branding.

Although the project was created with the outdoors in mind, trail-running sneakers have established themselves as street style-appropriate attire, as evidenced by the influx of hiking-inspired sneakers at fashion weeks around the globe.

Accompanying the two sneakers is a pack of collaborative Arc'teryx gear, including the newly revived adidas Atric Pants, which Livestock has pulled out of the archives for this special project. The apparel is rounded out by more exclusive Arc’teryx gear like the Alpha SL Pullover and Maka 2 hip bag. The entire collection will leave you thoroughly prepared for a hike in the coastal mountains of Vancouver, Livestock's home town.

All pieces are now available at Livestock and will be dropping at select global retailers today, September 29.
