Paris Fashion Week SS20 just wrapped up, but today, we’re getting a better look at some of Virgil Abloh’s FW19 Louis Vuitton footwear offerings  by way of Houyhnhnm. The sneakers featured by the Japanese publication include two low-tops and one high-top.

All three feature a design that refers back to the designer’s basketball influence, which has become something of a signature since Abloh took over the reigns at the French fashion house.

The high-top version features a calf leather upper in black and white with Louis Vuitton branding on the tongue, sides, and at the heel of the midsole. The low-top versions also feature branding on the tongues and sides, and are constructed of either suede (in the case of the brown/tan colored iteration) or a mixture of suede and felt (on the grey/black pair). The cursive branding on the high-top was apparently written by Abloh himself.

So far, it’s unclear what the name of the sneakers is. The Japanese publication calls them the 102 sneaker, while they could also just be the FW19 iteration of the LV Trainer.

Check out all three sneakers above and stay tuned for further release information ahead of the FW19 season.
