Virgil Abloh sent out a Michael Jackson-inspired glove as his invite to Louis Vuitton's Fall/Winter 2019 show taking place at Paris Fashion Week this Thursday.

The crystal-studded white glove includes details of the Louis Vuitton show. “There’s only one” is written on the top of the inside of the glove, and Abloh has signed the bottom of it. A Louis Vuitton-branded snap button closure completes the glove, which bears a striking resemblance to the white glove Jackson made famous.

In December, Abloh revealed that his new Louis Vuitton collection would be inspired by the singer. Speaking to Interview magazine, Abloh said, “My next Louis Vuitton collection is going to be based on Michael Jackson, and when I have Michael singing in the background, it’s a different type of shirt, it’s a different kind of boot, it’s a different fit of pants. Music is key.”

Paris' Grand Palais is currently hosting an exhibition exploring Jackson's work, so those inspired by Abloh's homage can learn more about the iconic pop star there.
