Highsnobiety celebrated the launch of its 19th print magazine issue at speakeasy-turned-film-bar Adults Only in Hollywood. Located in the corner of a nondescript strip mall at the intersection of La Brea and Sunset, Highsnobiety and hundreds if not thousands of local followers turned up to the one-night only event to celebrate the launch and watch the premiere of the mini-documentary “Hard Nak Life,” starring skater, rapper and actor Na-Kel Smith.

Smith is one of many highlights of Highsnobiety Magazine Issue 19 and the short film traces his meteoric rise across skating, rapping and acting, the latter of which led him to star in Jonah Hill’s love letter to ’90s skate culture, Mid90s. Smith, who rides for Supreme, adidas, Fucking Awesome, Spitfire and his own brand Hardies, sits alongside fellow skater Blondey McCoy in Highsnobiety Magazine Issue 19.

An absolutely raucous night that saw crowds spilling out in to the parking lot, guests were treated to a special performance from Smith, alongside DJ sets by SOSUPERSAM and Blondie Beach. An open bar assured there wasn’t a dry mouth in the building.

Every attendee had the chance to pick up the latest issue, which came with limited edition Michael B. Jordan x Coach trading cards, a nod to Jordan’s cover story which exclusively unveiled his collaborative collection with the New York fashion brand.

While the launch party was a one-time only event, Angelenos can stop by Adults Only seven nights a week, in addition to their newly opened pizza shop just next door.
