Editor’s Notes: Marc Jacobs and Dr. Martens are back together again 27 years after their first collaboration. In celebration of the English footwear and clothing brand's 60th anniversary, the two present the first vegan 1460 Remastered boot.

Jacobs largely helped bring grunge from the music scene to the fashion world, and in 1993 he shook up the industry by designing a Dr. Martens collab for Perry Ellis' grunge collection. The American designer remains ahead of the curve to this day, now bringing a DIY attitude to the beloved 1460 boot.

"Dr. Martens has long been a symbol of individuality and counterculture," said Jacobs. "Marc Jacobs and Dr. Martens are united in a strong sense of authenticity and having your voice heard."

The Marc Jacobs-designed 1460 Remastered boot is decorated with antique gold trinkets referencing the designer's own collection. Merged with Dr. Martens' signature elements, the collaborative footwear is a must-buy for anyone looking to invest in a pair of quality boots.
