Luxury maison Montblanc ushers in its 110th year with a bevy of special products.

Of particular note are a series of serpent-themed pieces, a reference to the serpent clip design of one of the Maison’s 1920s writing instruments. A recurring artistic motif during the Art Deco and Art Nouveau periods, the serpent not only represents desire, power and mystery, it is also a powerful symbol of rebirth and renewal.

Fast forward to today and the slithering reptile returns in the form of cufflinks, a tie bar and bracelet, alongside a gorgeous one-of-a-kind writing instrument, dubbed the Ultimate Serpent Limited Edition 1. The latter, pictured prominently above, sets new records with the quantity of gold used and the rare Montblanc Diamond that crowns it.

Complementing the serpent-themed offerings is a set of luxury bags. Crafted from the finest soft grain leather, the Montblanc 110th Anniversary Steamer Bag is the Maison’s very first interpretation of this early 20th-century style of luggage, originally designed to accompany larger trunks for sea voyages aboard the great Atlantic Ocean liners and reminiscent of the era in which Montblanc was founded. The theme of the serpent once again appears in the form of a bold red luggage tag, tying the concept together and celebrating 110 years in the classiest fashion.
