Picture this: It’s the mid-2000s, you throw on a pair of low-rise jeans, maybe even a trucker hat, and just before you leave the house, you grab your motorola razr phone – life is good.

Throughout tech history, there have been few other devices as iconic as motorola’s razr phone. Its ultra-sleek form and satisfying flip-to-close design made it the envy of all other phones during the time of its inception. Now, to commemorate its longevity, the razr is back and better than ever to celebrate its #HangUpOnIt campaign on fashion’s biggest night out.

An ode to the enduring love of the iconic flip phone, the #HangUpOnIt campaign puts an end to the status quo, challenging conventional thinking and inspiring a new era of positivity that exudes the razr’s innovative spirit. Flexing all-new features, the latest razr showcases the world’s first clamshell foldable smartphone – giving it all of the hi-tech feels of a modern-day phone surface while honoring the razr’s classic flip phone design.

To celebrate, razr sponsored a pre-party for fashion’s biggest night out and gifted six lucky attendees a razr phone. Urged to focus on uplifting good vibes and letting go of negativity, participants ultimately reflected on what they will be “hanging up on” this season while also using their razr to photograph some original behind-the-scenes content.

As each talent effortlessly paraded their razr to capture the night, they proved that the beloved phone is officially back – or maybe it never really left. Paired alongside this year’s highly anticipated fashion looks, the motorola razr was still the most unexpected, yet classic, accessory on this year’s red carpet.
