Model: Air Max 1 Golf “Grass”
Key Features: The silhouette’s turf-like upper comes complete in a rich green colorway, coupled with a high-traction tooling system, and a monochromatic lacing column. Punctuated with embroidered branding throughout, the design’s usual heel branding appears to be absent with this release.
Release Date: TBA
Price: Approximately $140
Editor’s Notes: With the PGA tour well underway, Nike has proven itself to be as timely as ever with the textural Air Max 1 Golf “Grass”. As mentioned above, the silhouette features a turf-like upper, and shares obvious aesthetic cues with the golf courses used to inspire its design. Breaking up an otherwise monochromatic palette is Nike’s choice of a Air Zoom midsole, coupled with a high-traction outsole in gum.
With Tinker Hatfield’s timeless design having experienced countless iterations, this model veers into more textural territories, less explored by today’s minimally biased designers.
The sneaker’s release date is yet unknown, but we will be sure to update this post as soon as anything new crops up. In the meantime, be sure to let us know what you think of the Air Max 1 Golf “Grass” in the comment section following.
