Editor’s Notes: The next silhouette in Nike's iconic Air Max range is unveiled and it's inspired by the Air Max lineage from the early 1990's, specifically elements of both the 1991 Air Max 180 and the Air Max 93.

Designed by the Nike Air design team, led by Senior Creative Director at Nike Sportswear Dylaan Raasch, the sleek new Nike Air Max 270 is lightweight, form-fitting, and softened for wear, while it's described by product testers as providing a trampoline-like effect.

In addition, the silhouette’s "270" moniker is derived from the 270 degrees of visible air within its Air Max unit. This was also a nickname for the Air Max 93 and its first ever blow-molded Air Max heel unit.
