Nike and Virgil Abloh have finally confirmed release details for their collaborative sneaker collection.

The first pack was conceived around the theme of "REVEALING," and consists of an Air Jordan I, Nike Air Max 90, Nike Air Presto, Nike Air VaporMax and Nike Blazer Mid, which will be pre-released at NikeLab locations during SS18 fashion week in New York (September 9-13), London (September 18-22), Milan (September 21-25) and Paris (September 26-30).

The remaining five sneakers (Nike Air Max 97, React Hyperdunk, Air Force 1, Zoom Vaporfly and Chuck Taylor All-Star produced by Converse-owned Nike) are part of a separate pack titled "GHOSTING," but all 10 silhouettes will be available in November at NikeLab stores and select retailers worldwide. The collaborative Air Force 1 is notably different from previous iterations that leaked on social media, featuring a translucent upper. “In my brain I’ve seen every iteration or color of an Air Force One. So where does that leave you?,” Virgil notes to GQ. “I wanted to make something that stops you from mindlessly scrolling.”

What's more, Abloh will also be launching “a destination for the advancement of sport, design and innovation” called Off Campus, according to Business of Fashion. The space will be arriving in multiple locations around the world, including 23 Wall Street in New York on September 6 to 8 and in London from 14 to 17, during fashion weeks in each respective city.

“Most of the creative decisions were made in the first three hours, while actual design and iteration took two to three days,” Abloh states to Nike. “The Jordan I was done in one design session. I work in a very like dream-like state. I see it, and it's done.” A simple X-ACTO knife was central to Virgil's design process, which sees all 10 of the Nike silhouettes treated to a deconstructed aesthetic, with rearranged Swooshes and industrial branding reading "VULCANIZED" and "FOAM."

Images of the co-branded Nike x Virgil Abloh sneakers have been floating around on Instagram for literally months, and during Paris Fashion Week in June, Abloh seeded out doodled-on pairs of his sneakers to other #NikeBoyz like Travis Scott, Drake and additional influential friends.
