At this stage, O'Ballou is still a cult brand. Why? Well, it's still hard to find, and when you do, it usually sells out pretty quickly. The label first came to our attention through its winter-weight cashmere knits, but after a few seasons we've realized that it is a true warm weather brand if ever there was one.
The entire collection is made in Italy, whether it's linen beach pants, chore jackets, outerwear made from heavy Italian linen, super fine t-shirts or camp shirts, O'Ballou designs the kind of items you want to wear on those hot, sticky days you're stuck in a non-air conditioned building. This season the brand also offers textiles created in partnership with Jacob Yarwood, a London-based artist who has recently come onto our radar. O'Ballou stockists are still rather few and far between, but with a collection like this, it looks like that won't be the case for much longer.
In the meantime, visit the company's website to see new collections and access a list of its stockists.
