Virgil Abloh’s Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1 “MCA” surprise-dropped via Nike’s SNKRS app over the weekend. Sneakerheads in Chicago were able to exclusively unlock the coveted pair through a SNKRS Stash drop, which is basically a regionally locked, first-come, first-served release.

The sneaker was previously available at ComplexCon Chicago as one of several exclusives at the event on July 20-21 and was also supposed to drop through the Frenzy app before that, although that release apparently never materialized.

The "MCA" Air Force 1 features a sky blue leather upper and midsole, a deconstructed Swoosh in reflective silver, white laces, a red zip tie, and white Off-White™ branding below the medial Swoosh.

The sneaker was first teased several months ago, prior to MCA Chicago sharing official images and release information. At the time, it was believed to be dropping at the June 10 opening of Abloh's “Figures of Speech” exhibition.

Abloh gifted a pair to Serena Williams in May, of course signing the midsole in typical fashion.

In June 2018, Abloh also teamed up with the Museum of Metropolitan Art in New York City to drop a black/silver Air Force 1 exclusively through the museum’s gift shop.
