Following a second look at the blue pair of OFF-WHITE x Nike Air Force 1s Virgil Abloh first teased several months back, MCA Chicago shares an official image of the sneaker, while also clarifying release information. Unfortunately, the much-anticipated Forces will not be available at the June 10 opening of Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition. Instead, you’ll want to sign up for Frenzy and SNKRS to receive updated launch details.

The latest pair of the collaborative Air Force 1s Abloh shared on Instagram were gifted to Serena Williams, and of course Abloh signed along the midsole in typical fashion.

Featuring a sky blue leather upper and midsole, the deconstructed Swoosh is a reflective silver color with white laces, a red zip tie, and white OFF-WHITE branding underneath the medial Swoosh.

In June 2018, Abloh teamed up with the MoMA in New York City to drop a black/silver version of his Air Force 1 exclusively through the museum’s gift shop. Considering Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” comes with a pop-up store dubbed “Church & State,” it’s likely the blue Air Force 1 will be available there at some point.

So far, no concrete information exists regarding the date and time of the expected drop, so stay tuned for more information.
