Mere days after releasing his mammoth new single “Go Flex,” Post Malone has shared the accompanying music video. To say it is an aesthetic reinvention for the rapper/R&B star would be an understatement; Malone has now gone full-on arena rock star.
Where his last video concerned bubble baths with his groupies, 40s and AK-47s, this clip sees him getting in touch with his softer side. It opens with him gently strumming a guitar in an abandoned shack, builds into running through the fields with a Texas flag billowing softly behind him, and climaxes in a firework explosion of sparks outside a humble garage.
If it weren’t for his braids and golden grills, one could almost mistake the clip for a Bruce Springsteen visual.
“Go Flex” is the first single off his upcoming debut album, which should be arriving within the next few months.
In other music news, Blink-182 have just dropped a brand new single.
