Shaping the culture is no small task. Creating something truly authentic takes time, care, and a keen eye for detail – all qualities that artists Grace Miceli, Keya Tama, and Jachuku Howard have in common. As accomplished creators in their own right, each sit at the forefront of contemporary creative culture, helping to raise the artistic bar to new heights.

To give these three innovative artists a well-deserved platform for expression, we teamed up with Russell Athletic, offering each individual the chance to flex their artistic skills for the world to see.

In the second iteration of community partnerships between the two brands, Russell Athletic x Highsnobiety aims to bridge the gap between graphic inspiration and fashion by providing these trailblazing artists a canvas to build, empower, and grow their creative communities on a larger scale.

To bring these creative visions to light, each artist utilized Russell’s new Dri-Power fleece hoodie colorways to create one-of-one pieces that reflect their artistic perspective. Incorporating Russell’s latest lineup of Fall colors, including Vintage White, Green Moss, Blush Pink, Almond, and Arctic Blue, artists were able to let their imaginations run wild on a unique canvas.

In an attempt to reach out and support a variety of subcultures and communities, three lucky winners will receive a one-of-a-kind hoodie from one of the artists as part of a giveaway put together by Russell, Highsnobiety, and the artists involved in the project.

Now, let’s get a little more familiar with the groundbreaking artists who were enlisted to bring their creative visions to life.

As an NYC-based author and artist, Miceli, aka Art Baby Girl on Instagram, keeps her work playful and self-reflective across various mediums, including illustration, comics, murals, product design, and animation. Miceli’s work has been featured in 50 museums and galleries worldwide, and her first book, “How To Deal,” hit the shelves last year.
