Prince Louis, son of Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton and Prince William, was gifted a signed adidas Stan Smith by none other than the legend Stan Smith himself during the Wimbledon men’s singles final yesterday.

The pair that Smith handed over to Middleton featured the classic white and green colorway, and came in a toddler size with Velcro straps in place of laces. The side was signed in gold and read “To Louis.”

The adidas Stan Smith debuted in 1971 and has since become one of adidas’ most recognizable silhouettes. The model‘s namesake is the former world number one and won Wimbledon in 1972. He also won the US Open in 1971.
