After teaming up with Vini Vici for "Moshi Moshi," the world renowned Steve Aoki is back with his latest track, "Pretender," featuring rapper Lil Yachty and AJR.

Just as the title suggests, the official music video above places an emphasis on the internet and highlights how we showcase our best lives through social media, while hiding our true images, and essentially being pretenders.

Directed by Tyler Yee, Steve Aoki, Lil Yachty and AJR are seen faking it to make the double taps fly in their social media accounts, along with more staged scenarios of individuals, demonstrating the lengths to which people will go to create images of particular lifestyles, specifically on Instagram.

Overall, the video ends with a happy ending, suggesting that we're all playing this game together.

Up next, here’s what went down at the Highsnobiety x DC Shoes x FTP issue launch party.
