Brand: Syndicate Original
Season: Spring/Summer 2018 “Ukrainian Avant-garde”
Key Pieces: The collection’s two-tone crewneck sweater, graphic-printed T-shirts, and polo shirt.
As the title suggests, the range was inspired by the 20th century avant-garde flair of Kharkiv, a city in northeast Ukraine. Vova Vorotnev utilized symbols of Ukrainian advanced design such as covers of the Avant-garde magazine by artist/designer Vasyl Yermilov and “Нова Ґенерація” (New Generation) edited by Mikhail Semenko. Additionally, other works from Ukrainian artists such as the papiros pack “Ілліч” (Lenin) by Ermilov and Khlebnikov composition “Ladomyr,” are also featured.
Encompassing sweaters, long and short-sleeved T-shirts, polo shirts, and caps, you can find the entire collection at Syndicate’s flagship in Kiev, as well as online via the button below.
