Taco Bell is coming to Palm Springs this summer, but not to open just another restaurant. Instead, it's taking over a Californian resort complex to give those who love the fast-food chain the chance to immerse themselves in a unique vacation experience: a Taco Bell pop-up hotel that is "inspired by tacos and fueled by fans."

Dubbed The Bell, the hotel is taking reservations from June and opens its doors on August 9 for a limited time only. According to CNBC, the space will offer a whole range of wild Mexican food-inspired experiences. There will be a gift shop selling Taco Bell merch, Taco Bell-inspired nail art, and — perhaps worryingly — a hair-styling salon.

This isn't the first time Taco Bell has invited guests to spend the night. In 2016, it partnered with Airbnb to offer customers in Canada a similar experience.
