After experimenting with a shell made of fried chicken earlier this year, Taco Bell is back with an insane spin on an traditional taco.
Called the Naked Breakfast Taco, the fast food restaurant's newest creation is a breakfast taco with a fried egg in place of the tortilla. While this seems like a greasy mess waiting to happen, it will probably please Taco Bell's carb-averse fans — though we seriously doubt this could be described as a healthy option.
If this all sounds too unorthodox, you'll be happy to know that customers are also able to order a “dressed” version with a flatbread to cover the fried egg. The inside of the wrap features all the regular breakfast offerings you would expect; diced potatoes, two types of cheese — nacho cheese and shredded cheddar — and a choice of sausage crumbles or bacon.
The Naked Breakfast Taco will be available in Flint, MI locations from April 18.
