Following an initial launch, Takashi Murakami and Billionaire Boys Club are back with a second round of goods, as BBC EU is now the sole UK distributor of Murakami-designed accessories. Here, we find the collection once again centering around the famed artist’s iconic flower print, reimagined as cushions and keychains.
The line ultimately draws inspiration from some of Murakami’s most celebrated work, heavily influenced by his super flat artistic style, featuring brightly colored flower motifs with anime-esque faces.
Produced in Japan by Murakami’s KaiKai Kiki company, the cushions arrive in 30cm, 60cm, and 1m sizes, each with a happy face on one side and a sleepy face on the other. The keychains in turn note a pin on the back for use as a badge or a decorative accessory.
The latest Takashi Murakami x Billionaire Boys Club capsule is available beginning today at BBC’s EU flagship.
Murakami also recently came together with Virgil Abloh for some new artwork.
