Popular Twitch streamer Ninja was present at Samsung’s After Unpacked Samsung 837 party alongside Casey Neistat and a host of other tech-obsessed influencers. Samsung unveiled the new, super powerful Galaxy Note9 at the event and, while all eyes were on the new smartphone, sneakerheads may have been more interested with what was on Ninja’s feet.

Ninja, real name Tyler Blevins, was wearing a pair of Louis Vuitton “Run Away” sneakers in a primarily white colorway. While Ninja can certainly afford a pair of LV kicks, it was the blue denim monogram detailing on the sneaker that stood out and made the streamer’s choice of footwear noteworthy.

Since Virgil Abloh took to the helm at the French fashion house late last year, all eyes have been on the creative director and his debut collection — especially the sneakers.

Abloh revolutionized sneaker collaborations with his “The Ten” collection in partnership with Nike. Many sneakerheads are hoping he can bring Louis Vuitton’s footwear lines more into the mainstream.

Judging by Ninja’s choice in sneakers, it seems like Louis Vuitton sneakers are starting to trend.
