Editor’s Notes: No DONDA yet but there are always more YEEZY BOOSTs. Here comes the YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 "Light," offering another pale take on the accessible low-top sneaker.

Of course, Light beige tones are nothing new for YEEZY's footwear line, with plenty of similarly-hued shoes having dropped over the past few years. These include the "Natural," "Linen", and "Flax" 350 V2s, all kinda similar — yet distinct.

Compared to the recent 350 V2s, the 350 V2 "Light" presents a familiar façade. It lives up to its name with a yellow-tinged sole unit, light tonal tan tones above, and matching laces that may be intended to recall the "Ultralight Beam" that Kanye himself spoke of some years back.

The 350 V2 "Light" also boasts some UV-reflecting properties woven into its lightweight upper. Nothing too crazy for one of Kanye's preferred sneakers, especially given some of the wild stuff coming out of the YEEZY camp these days, but hard to imagine YEEZY devotees complaining.

Kanye West may have actually plotted the release date of the 350 V2 "Light" on purpose. It hits YEEZY SUPPLY two days after the Chicago listening event on August 26 where DONDA may actually drop. Or DONDA may drop the next day, on August 27. Who knows?
