WHAT DOES THE BRAND A.P.C. STAND FOR?
A.P.C. stands for Atelier de Production et de Création, which directly translates to "Production and Creation Workshop" — a core tenet of the French brand.
WHAT IS A.P.C. KNOWN FOR?
Elevated staples and timeless classics. That is how we would describe A.P.C. Comfy turtlenecks, well-proportioned straight-leg pants, plain baseball caps, understated leather goods, and quietly luxe sneakers are all part of the brand's offering. However, the brand's true claim to fame is Japanese raw selvage denim — denim that has not been wet, processed or manipulated in any way before being purchased.

1987
Tunisian and Jewish fashion designer, Jean Touitou, launches a clothing brand that would later be known as A.P.C.
1988
A.P.C. launches the first women's collection.
1993
By the early 1990s, A.P.C has opened several international stores in stores, including places like Tokyo and New York City.
1995
A.P.C. has its first catalogue orders.
2011
First A.P.C. quilts with Jessica Ogden. Opening of the rue Royale store in Paris, which houses the brand's archives
2014
A.P.C. opens a Paris store and Berlin store.
2018
A.P.C. starts to organizingparades and since 2018 they have been included in the official calendar of the Fédération française de la couture.
2019-2020
