Founder of Australian fashion brand Ksubi, George Gorrow has joined forces with New York-based gallerist and curator George Benias to embark on a new project. Given the moniker of Cocurata, we are proud to unveil these first images from the new brand, which “sits at the high-end of streetwear, rather than low-end of fashion” say the founders themselves. Consisting of George Gorrow’s first venture since leaving Ksubi, the idea with Cocurata is to simultaneously work as both a fashion label and multidisciplinary art platform, while working with 25 contemporary artists, obviously outside the framework of a typical art gallery exhibition. The inaugural collection includes gear for both men and women, while you can check the full photo set above for yourself.
