While we initially speculated that Chance The Rapper’s soulful mixtape, Coloring Book, would completely shift the way we interpret success, today brings word that the upstart Chicago emcee’s project has become the first album/mixtape to crack the Billboard 200 sales chart based solely off streaming numbers alone.

Chance lands at #8 on the charts with an estimated 57 million streams which equates to 38,000 “equivalent album units,” based on Nielsen Music’s interpretation in which 1,500 streams equals one unit.

Coloring Book will sit alongside Drake’s VIEWS which will top the charts for a third consecutive week.
