German architecture firm Lichtecht has designed a conceptual house that is perched on the cliff of a breathtaking mountain range.

The “Triangle Cliff House” has a sharp triangular roof and is covered with glass on all four sides, allowing unobstructed views of the fictional but magical Lord of the Rings-like landscape that falls beneath it. On the inside, soft glowing lights create a warm and comforting environment in which to shelter from the inevitably harsh nighttime elements.

There are currently no plans to actually build this charming, if a little terrifying, home, but if it happens then the buyer can expect to pay a very pretty penny for it. Just don’t look down.
