In following up on May’s initial drop, FUCT has once again partnered with Revive to release a second round of vintage T-shirts. Each style is limited to 50 units, as the tees in turn feature FUCT-favorite designs from the ’90s.
The brand’s early designs were created with pen and paper, namely the recurring drug references with cartoon characters partaking in elicit narcotics, referenced here by the Skunk tee. “It’s Our Pleasure to Disgust You” is one of many anti campaign slogans the brand produced during the 90’s, utilizing the infamous red bar with white text as parodic jabs at the politically correct slogans of New York artist Barbara Kruger. Meanwhile, the Apocalypse Now tee (amongst other ’60s, ’70s and ’80s movie stills printed on garments) created a dialogue with consumers through imagery appropriation.
If you’re really feeling these retro releases, FUCT is expected to release additional vintage T-shirts each quarter so keep an eye out.
