Apple has started selling the SIM-free iPhone 7 and 7 Plus over at its U.S. website, giving customers the option to own the device without being tied down to a lengthy contract.

The phone will come completely unlocked and ready to work on any wireless carrier of your choice. However, if you choose to buy the iPhone 7 SIM-free, you won’t be able to take advantage of Apple’s iPhone Upgrade Program — a good way of getting your hands on a new iPhone every year without getting ripped off. Instead, the company is offering 18 months of special financing.

People hoping to purchase the SIM-free Plus model may have to wait a little while longer, with current shipping times at six to eight weeks for the Jet Black model, and three to four for all other colors. The wait for the Jet Black isn’t so surprising, given that it sold out way back in mid-September.

Apple expects all SIM-free standard iPhone 7’s to be delivered by October 20.
