While just about everybody on planet earth knows who Bob Marley is — even your dad, your dad loves Bob Marley — the same can’t really be said of his 11 children. But, as it turns out, perhaps unsurprisingly, they’re also quite talented. His eldest son, Ziggy Marley, has won five Grammys for his reggae music, and the Coveteur went to his stunning home to meet him.
Inside it found an impressive wardrobe full of retro adidas tracksuits (in green colorways, obviously), lightweight beach shirts, print tees, brogue boots and aviator sunglasses. It was also clear that Ziggy loves to cook — he has just released a cookbook called Ziggy Marley and Family, full of Jamaican-inspired recipes from Ziggy and his friends and relatives, as well as his own ingredient line, Ziggy Marley Organics.
The mag says it was treated to the “full Marley experience” and that Ziggy was as cool and laid back as they expected (even taking a spin on his motorcycle just for their enjoyment). Head over to Coveteur to read the full interview in which Ziggy discusses the five things he can’t live without, as well as giving an uplifting speech about the state of the country, and the meaning behind his music.
In other music news, a David Bowie emoji will appear in the new iOS update.
