Tune in and turn up

Christmas may still be three days away, but Chance the Rapper fans have been gifted an early present. The Chicago rapper has just released a surprise Christmas mixtape with Jeremih, titled Merry Christmas Lil’ Mama.

The nine festive tracks, which the pair describes as being “For Chicago,” feature comedian Hannibal Buress on “All The Way,” while NoName stars on “The Tragedy.” Other tracks include “Snowed In,” “I’m Your Santa,” and “Chi Town Christmas.”

It’s Chance the Rapper’s first project since Coloring Book and Jeremih’s first since Late Nights: Europe.

Chance also sat down with BBC radio presenter Huw Stephens for an interview and to play some of his favorite tracks to play over the holiday period. Songs played included material from the likes of  Kanye West, Jackson 5, Donny Hathaway, DJ Rashad and more. You can listen to that below.

After you’ve finished, listen to Rich Chigga’s self-produced new single “Seventeen.”
