SZA was all over the place last year. Whether it was stealing a song on Rihanna’s ANTI or popping on Ab-Soul’s recent Do What Thou Wilt, the TDE singer managed to make her presence known in all manner of places. Yet in spite of these appearances, it seemed doubtful she would ever release her long-awaited second album. Fortunately, that time has arrived. She has just announced that CTRL will be here imminently, and to prove it she has shared a new song called “Drew Barrymore.” Listen to it below.

News of music from SZA is incredibly important, given that just a few months ago the singer tweeted out “I actually quit” in a frustrated response to issues with her label, TDE. Fortunately, it seems that these issues have been resolved. In addition to the above “Drew Barrymore,” SZA recently debuted new material at a secret show in New York. Stay tuned for release information on CTRL.
