London avant-garde fashion designer and RCA graduate, Katie Roberts-Wood, presents the FW17 collection from her ROBERTS | WOOD label as part of the city’s fashion week. The designer is all about the abstract, theatrical vibes — like COMME des GARCONS, Craig Green and the like — and her favored asymmetric silhouettes, sheer fabrics and minimal color play were all present this time around, as were her eerie, dreamy presentation backdrops.

Key pieces of the ROBERTS | WOOD wardrobe were shirting and blazers, which were dissected with strategic cutaways and dramatic bows. Elsewhere, dresses were crafted from barely-even-there sheer fabrics, with elaborate ruching and meandering cuts adding to Roberts-Wood’s artsy credentials.

Check out ROBERTS | WOOD’s similarly abstract SS17 collection while you’re at it. For more FW17 fashion week content, check out our first street style report from the British capital.
