This weekend, an extremely rare Mercedes 500 E that was made in partnership with Porsche will be going up for auction in Fort Lauderdale.
The 500 E car was made at the beginning of the 1990s and only 10,000 were made before the car was discontinued. This car was produced in ‘93, making it even rarer. Only 1,596 were built that year, and just 1,528 of those were imported to the United States.
To produce the 500 E, Mercedes teamed up with Porsche, automatically making it a classic. It was also a top-of-the-line sedan, leading the way in its balance between torque and horsepower.
As it’s an auction there is no set price, but it’s estimated to go for between $50,000 and $60,000. Check the car out in all its glory above, and head over to Auctions America for more details.
