Cape Town-based architectural firm SAOTA have designed a truly luxurious beachside home resting in between the Indian Creek Canal and Pine Tree Drive in Miami’s famed Collin’s Waterfront district. Per SAOTA, “The building is conceived as a self-contained, multi-layered landscape of experiences which takes advantage of both Miami’s tropical climate as well the site’s sought-after views.”

The 1,865-square-meter house flows directly into the activity of the canal, as the overall design of the home is meant to connect the landscape with the water, further pointing to SAOTA’s South African roots.

The residence is nothing short of a tropical paradise, with options for natural swimming or relaxation in the backyard pool adjacent to the waterway.
