NBC’s Saturday Night Live and its 43rd season premiere will be airing on Saturday, September 30, 2017 — hosted by Ryan Gosling and the star musical guest to be JAY-Z.

Fresh off the release of his 4:44 album, the last time JAY was on SNL as a musical guest was in 2010, where he played a medley of “Public Service Announcement,” “On to the Next One,” “99 Problems,” “‘03 Bonnie & Clyde,” “Empire State of Mind” and “Young Forever.” In 2013, he also joined Justin Timberlake to perform their collaborative single “Suit & Tie.”

Gosling, meanwhile, makes his return to SNL‘s center stage after hosting in December 2015.
