From the ground up

Virgil Abloh’s Nike “The Ten” project is almost assuredly the most hyped sneaker collaboration of the year. The Swoosh has in turn allowed the OFF-WHITE designer to rework 10 of its silhouettes, ranging from classics to newer variants.

But what if Virgil was partnering with adidas instead of the team from Oregon? Well, it might look a little something like the on-hand image.

Courtesy of Toronto designer Corbs, we get a glimpse at adidas’s Ultra Boost decked out with Abloh-style design details.

The imagining features everything from a red industrial tag to can’t-miss “SHOELACES” and “BOOST” tagging a la Virgil.

After getting a look, would you have rather seen Virgil Abloh working with the Three Stripes on a special sneaker series?
