Each week, we’re taking a minute to highlight some of our favorite brands out there, with a curated selection of pieces that are available to buy right now. Last week we shined light on Julius, and this week we are featuring Martine Rose x Napajri’s Fall 2017 capsule collection.

When it comes to capsule collections, we here at Highsnob have a serious soft-spot. So when we heard about Martine Rose’s recent collaboration with Napajiri we were, to say the least, intrigued. The London-based menswear designer is one of many women (i.e.Wales Bonner, Stella McCartney) experimenting with menswear. Her latest collection is a nod to 1990s street style, where the then urban youth brought the runway styles to the streets changing the face of fashion forever.

Working with Napajiri allowed Rose to reinterpret the iconic brand’s look and make its range of outerwear appealing for the pastoral winter days or the gritty urban cold. With streamlined out-of-proportion silhouettes, reminiscent of 90s streetwear, this capsule collection hits all the right notes when it comes to winter apparel: cozy, bulky, and dare we say, a tad techy. Just check out this dope selection and you’ll quickly understand what Rose has revived and recreated and how to cop it now.
