Texas-based firm Murray Legge Architecture have designed additions to a home situated in Westlake Hills, Texas, that now features a new pool house, swimming pool, spa, and terraced landscape.

With the new developments blending perfectly with its natural surroundings, the architects mentioned that “impervious cover and storm water run-off regulations within the city are very restrictive” and contributed in designing the pool house, so to work within those guidelines, a green roof was implemented.

Boasting a wooden and stone composition that coordinates with the greenery, the curve of the green roof reflects in the interior of the pool house, with a wood boat-like vaulted ceiling.

Additionally, the pool house is home to an indoor-outdoor dining area complete with a high-end residential kitchen and a fireplace that is located outside, offering a beautiful heating alternative for cool nights, while an infinity edge swimming pool is surrounded by a deck with plenty of space for relaxation.

Now check out LVMH’s parametric staircase in Paris that spirals like a snake.
