After releasing a slew of singles this year, including the Highsnobiety-premiered “Batman,” Jaden Smith has announced the official release date of his debut album SYRE: A Beautiful Confusion. According to his tweet, the project is three years in the making and will be released November 17.

In addition, Smith has posted audiovisual previews of the album on his Instagram and Twitter, referring to them as the “The SYRE Movie Trailer,” crediting Ricky Eat Acid with the score. Some feature clips of his new songs, and text that reads “The Sunset Killed Him,” with dreamy visuals depicting the musician at sunset.

It seems Smith is following in the footsteps of Beyoncé and Frank Ocean, releasing a visual accompaniment to his upcoming full-length. Aside from his musical endeavours, Smith voiced the main character Kaz Kaan of Ezra Koenig’s new animated Netflix series Neo Yokio. Check out all of Jaden Smith’s SYRE Instagram posts right here.
