ACNE studios released a new capsule collection today, inspired by the codes and conventions of old school American diners.

Bright graphics either embellished or screen printed onto the fabric depict ice cubes, cherries, lipsticks, telephones, tape cassettes, lollipops and fir trees. Slightly Quentin Tarantino, slightly Twin Peaks, the collection of shirts, hooded sweatshirts, caps, shorts and accessories is contained in a pallet of black, white, purple, red and brown.

The stand out pieces are the work shirts with contrasting colours and large graphics printed onto the chest, an interesting American edition of the nu workwear trend that’s been popping off this year. Also, that cap with the ice cube graphic is pretty fresh.

Check out the limited release in detail above and stay tuned for the roller derby skates (a first for ACNE studios) which will be dropping with the collection soon.
