Taschen, the specialty art and photography publisher, delivers some of the most bang for the buck, pound for pound. Their latest large format work is the 552-page "Rock Covers" book collecting more than 750 examples of rock n roll records in a bound edition, itself roughly the same dimensions as a 12-inch LP record.

What makes "Rock Covers" most notable is the artwork note that accompanies each album release: Names are sometimes difficult to find on record sleeves; other times, they're simply missing. The book is an all-visual affair and a very proper gift for anyone who loves music and remembers the physicality of vinyl records.

"Rock Covers" is out now through Taschen and is also available from Amazon for $47.
